Sara Ali Khan wishes mother Amrita Singh on her 63rd birthday; calls her as her strength and inspiration
Actress Sara Ali Khan took to social media to share pictures with her mother Amrita Singh and younger brother Ibrahim Ali Khan on her birthday on Tuesday. In her post, she called Amrita her “strength and inspiration”.
Sharing the pictures on her Instagram handle in which the mother and daughter are twinning in blue, Sara wrote: “Happy Birthday to my whole world. Thank you for being my mirror, strength and inspiration. I lo-blue the most #likemotherlikedaughter #twinning #winning #soulsisters #bosslady #beautiful #maa #travelbuddy #blessed.” Her hashtags revealed what Sara thought of her mother as she addressed her as boss lady and soul sister.
The pictures also feature her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan. Sara is incredibly close to her mother and brother as is evident from her many posts on Instagram with them.
Amrita Singh gained popularity and became a well known and popular actress in the 1980s. She took a break from acting in the early 1990s for a decade and returned to acting in 2002, occasionally playing supporting roles.
She married Saif Ali Khan in January 1991. Their only daughter Sara Ali Khan was born on 12 August 1995 and son Nawab Ibrahim Ali Khan on 5 March 2001. After thirteen years of marriage, the couple divorced in 2004.
On film front, Sara Ali Khan was last seen onscreen in David Dhawan’s comedy film ‘Coolie No.1’ along with Varun Dhawan and Paresh Rawal in key roles.
She will next be seen in Anand L. Rai’s romantic drama film ‘Atrangi Re’ alongside Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
The film originally scheduled for worldwide release on 14 February 2021 in theatres, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. However, it was indefinitely pushed due to post-production delays owing to COVID-19 pandemic in India.
