Filmmaker Karan Johar, who has collaborated with Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh on different projects says that both bring different energies on sets.
Karan Johar along with Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and the entire ensemble were interacting with Newshelpline during the success celebration press conference in Mumbai.
Comparing the energies of Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, filmmaker Karan Johar said, “The boom box boy, now we all have met Ranveer Singh, I don’t know what he ate when he was born, and I have no clue what he eats now, and I am sure Alia will also agree with me, that there is nobody who can bring the kind of energy on film-sets that Ranveer Singh comes with”
“Prior to this, I had worked with Ranbir Kapoor, who is actually very calm and composed, and would his energy on the sets, but when I worked with Ranveer Singh, I seriously got a cultural shock, but then I realized that the kind of hard-work Ranveer does, and all his zeal and spunk he brings, he does it, only to enhance his performance.”
“I haven’t seen this kind of energy, and I am sure he will not see it again, but I knew one thing, he is most indispensable character in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, there would be no Rocky Randhawa if it wasn’t Ranveer Singh” added Karan.
The film has clocked 116 crores at the box-office, also starring veteran actor Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir, and Kshitee Jog. The screenplay is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy.
