The 2024 edition of the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival marks a significant milestone by celebrating 50 glorious years of cinema with the renowned actress Shabana Azmi, who will be awarded the Excellence in Cinema Award. The award will be presented to Azmi on October 18, followed by a masterclass on October 19, where she will engage in a conversation with National Award-winning actor Vidya Balan. This session will offer audiences unique insights into Azmi’s remarkable journey and her experiences over five decades in the film industry.
