350 people registered for subsidy on e-vehicle in Haryana
Haryana government will pay the expenses if student of Haryana researches on an e-vehicle and gets it patented.
Chandigarh: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that promoting electric vehicles, the Haryana government decided that electric vehicles will be provided to ACS level officers in the state. For this, action has been started at the departmental level.
Dushyant Chautala was today interacting with the entrepreneurs of Haryana on EV policy during the EV-Expo being organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Dushyant said that the Haryana government has also decided at the government level that only e-vehicles will be purchased in future.
Haryana Electric Vehicle Policy-2022 has been implemented to encourage electric and hybrid electric vehicles in the state. The EV policy offers several financial incentives to EV manufacturers in terms of fixed capital investment, state GST, stamp duty and employment generation.
350 people got registered in Haryana till this morning after Deputy CM said that subsidy is being provided to those who buy electric vehicles in Haryana. The Deputy CM of Haryana keeping in mind the needs of the future, called upon the industrialists to promote the manufacturing of electric vehicles. The state government will provide all possible help to them.
Dushyant Chautala appealed to the common people that the time has come when we have to leave petrol or diesel and adopt EV. Climate change stands as a major challenge before the entire country.
Dushyant announced from the stage of PHD that Haryana government will bear all its expenses, if any student of Haryana researches on an e-vehicle and gets it patented. He said that even if any university in the state wants to open a research center on e-vehicles, the government will help it.
PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry Haryana Chapter Chairman Pranav Gupta welcome Dushyant Chautala on the occasion and said that due to lack of publicity, there is no awareness about EVs among the common people. In such a situation, the Chamber has made an effort to bring together consumers, manufacturers and sellers under one roof.
PHD Chamber of Commerce President Saket Dalmia, who specially arrived on the occasion, said that with the cooperation of the Haryana government, such Electric Vehicle Exhibitions would be organized in Gurugram and other cities as well. On this occasion, PHDCCI Assistant Secretary General Naveen Seth, MSME Haryana Director Sanjeev Chawla, Entrepreneur Nishant Arya, Rajeev Chawla and many dignitaries were present.
